Come join the YDA's community outreach! A Walk with Beverly is a self guided walking tour, in honor of the local legend Beverly Cleary and the history of Yamhill in the hopes to promote literacy and history to children, families and schools!

About the event
Come join the YDA's community outreach! A Walk with Beverly is a self guided walking tour, in honor of the local legend Beverly Cleary and the history of Yamhill in the hopes to promote literacy and history to children, families and schools! The literacy walkign tour will showcase the fun whimsical characters from Beverly Cleary books. You will have opportunities to explore the historical building as well as Beverly's first historic home. Enjoy learning about some of Beverly Cleary's fantastic book and we hope this inspires you to write your own story!
